Sorry to post two holiday special things in a row but I thought this was interesting:

This probably isn't "news" but I noticed in researching my Holiday Special review I found that Starwars.com's Databank openly acknowledges things from the Star Wars Holiday Special as cannon.

QUOTE
With the rise of the Empire came a terribly dark time for the Wookiees. At the advice of unscrupulous Trandoshans, the Empire blockaded Kashyyyk and enslaved the Wookiees, using their brute strength for labor. So devoted were the Wookiees to their homeworld, that many would brave the blockade to revisit their cherished forests for key Wookiee holidays.

I thought this odd considering Lucas's contempt (justified) for the Holiday Special and his efforts to erase it from existence.

Wow, only thing worse than the PT accepted as cannon. *sob* sad.gif

Sounds like the work of an even darker force at hand, one that even Georgypoo can't even surpass.

Chefelf are you sure that wasn't posted on April 1st or was ment as a joke of some sort.

April Fools. cute. tongue.gif

I was wondering last night what the LFL "authority" is and wondered about the website/baseball card descriptions of everything. Guess this clarifies a little. My point being, once it's written and posted, BS and inconsistancies are simple to prove.

but it's just a waste of effort to pidgeon hole what most of us know already.

Big green ones.

"-why wouldn't they just escape once they broke the blockade...?-"

You know how friggin' long it too to carve out those damn tree houses??
And with furry paws like that!
That was prime furniture-grade oak man.... you don't just leave that to Imperial scum.

Plus those sexual hairdryer chair they all had are very hard to move too and Wookie huts have different outlets than most of the galaxy.
