Spoon- Great, they're stuck. Problem is they've seen you. They can't maneuvre, but they're going to try to eff you just the same. You can move around to a better position and fight them, or run, but you have to do it before they get a bead on you which gives you one turn.
Otal- Your men board the ghost ship. Veteran Seaman's Intuition tells you theres nothing living on there, but you have a bad feeling anyhow. Your men find nothing but blood, corpses (many of them unarmed) and plenty of food and drink. The hold is flooded but the waters dont rise. You can make an awareness check to see what else you notice, but the main thing you get is that this ship should simply not be afloat still.

Captain Jane Sherwood of the Siren's Virtue, starting off the southern coast of Haiti. The winds are finally picking up again after a long stint of inactivity, and both my crew and myself are itching for action of any kind. I am reclined in my cabin, calmly twirling my Knife and starring at the wall opposite me. Pinned upon it are several pieces of parchment collected from the crew, each with one bit of writing: "SHORE LEAVE", "BAREND", "NAVY BASTARDS", "PRIVATEERING WHORES", and "TREZUR!!!" (I briefly consider having that sailor flogged).
I close my eyes and let my Knife fly.

Spoon - She's stuck on the reef, her rudder all befuddled with the coral and the whatnot, and they're trying to use planks and secondary anchors to pull her free. Basically she's stationary.
Otal- You hop on the boat and find that theres black sand tracked about. Naturally I'd assume you look at the treasure. That's odd. Only gold is missing. Jewels, food, even the rum is still there. Once again though, you can find no reason this ship should still be floating and you still have that eerie feeling.
Jane- You rolled a 17 on your knife skill. You look pretty awesome twirling the BFK and a crew member who happens to pass by sees this and makes a note never to fuck with the captain. Also, when you throw it the knife sticks into Navy Bastards and quivers in the wall for a while. Ignorant Ian comes down with his own piece of parchment whereupon he's written "Arts and Crafts time", wondering if it's too late to put in his entry.

In the meantime, I'm going to start stocking up on crosses, holy water and making sure my ship is as consecrated as is possible.

Ninja Duck- On the way you see that ship finally pull up. Theres a guy in the crows nest but soon the crew of the ship is streaming off for shore leave. The ships name is the Nova and she flies no flag. The crew look very much like the pirate type and a chorus of Yaharrs follow as they head into all three bars.
Sime- You put out the word that no one is to mess with Barend. Never has there been an order that the Spaniards and slaves were so glad to hear from you. Not being allowed to go after Barend is just fine with most of those under the Spanish flag. However, no one onm your ship dares to make a sign of merriment, because they're afraid they'd be sent to row in the galley. The ship has sails and all, but occasionally they cna be struck and your crew/slaves forced to row just to have something laborious to do.
However, no member of the Jesuit order has seen Barend and lived to tell about it, and none of them are too eager to deliver this message. Regardless, it is the lord and the blessed virgin's work, so your Jesuit order allies go to it with gusto.
And as a Jesuit you can consecrate the hell out of things so consider your ship consecrated ground.
