Love it or hate it, it's the one day where we are reminded of what we are the other three hundred and sixty-four days of the year. So why not let loose and have a laugh at the expense of others, or just make yourself look like a total idiot and let the others have a laugh? It's fun!

So I'm curious about you guys. What do you do? What have you done? What are you going to do? Do you go out of your way for this holiday in some way or do you loathe it with a fiery passion?

I personally only have a few jokes lined up, and only for a handful of specific people. I've never really been able to remember it enough to plan anything major ahead of time, unfortunately, but just for my own satisfaction I've decided that I will not think of anything depressing or upsetting today, I will refuse to take anything seriously, I will not take off my Hat for anything, and I will be hyper and excitable all day long!

And that has absolutely nothing to do with those weird pills I found last night!
Check out my crappy drawings!

Pfff April Fools, It’s the amateur night of the pranksters. When I pull a joke it’ll be at a time you least expect it, like during a Barmitzfa or a family funeral.

I do see some good jokes at this time though, like one of my friends got a cast and banage on her arm saying her dog bit her, she then offers you to see it and underneath she wrote ‘April Fools:p’

I sold my school on eBay.

April fools, I didn't really, but I did try to. This failed spectacularly when I realised you need a credit card to do that. So instead I saved a page from eBay on my computer, modified it by making it look like an auction listing for my school, and planned on replacing the main school webpage with that for the day. A friend of mine helped to make part of the school site and therefore knew how to access and change it, so she became my accomplice on this. Uploading the page to the school website didn't work either though, since she no longer had access to it and we were unable to obtain a password, so instead we decided to print out a few copies of the page and tape them up around the school in obscure locations.

By the end of the day, I had to replace one of the taped-up pages about four times since people kept taking them down to show each other. My friend's math class was in chaos as people tried to determine if it was an actual auction, and in the hallways, I heard on numerous occasions, "You can buy our school on eBay!" My friend covertly placed a copy on the principal's desk, and when he saw it he laughed. That was pretty good considering that another kid made a giant purple paper-mache bunny for display outside the school, for which he got suspended for littering, which is just ridiculous. He was probably planning to take it down by the end of the day anyway, and it is April fools, after all.

So despite our prank not going exactly as expected, it did get quite a few laughs and it did cause the appropriate amount of chaos, so I would have to say.... Mission: Succesful. ph34r.gif

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....

Well, seeing as April Fools only lasts for the morning, I was safe. I'm on study break, which means I don't wake up until midday wink.gif

My prank was supposed to be great. I was going to take a screenshot of my room mate's computer, minimize her taskbar and move her icons offscreen and set the screenshot as her wallpaper. When she went to use her computer, nothing would happen! It would have been priceless, since she's not good with computers. The problem would have perplexed her. Unfortunately, I overslept and when I woke up she was already home from school. Foiled again!

Hecc, I did that to a friend! And on top of that, I ran a java program that also looked like the desktop but you have to control alt delete to get it off of there.

Of course, when I did it, I wasn't even thinking that it was April Fools Day, he just left his computer unlocked...

Havelka of www.yellow5.com fame put up all rights to POKEY THE PENGUIN for auction, but then took it down before anyone could bid on it. I was really scared for a while there.
