That's right. Will they still be playing Halo 2 and Half-Life 2 800 years from now?
Chess rocks.

If anyone wants to play a game, I'm an intermediate level player, so only other intermediates please. First to PM me gets a game, either with the forum's PM thing or E-mail.

The board is set up like this (A-H and 1-8 are simply grid numbers to assist with moving, Other letters signify pieces);

A B C D E F G H
1 R K B K Q B K R
2 P P P P P P P P
3
4
5
6
7 P P P P P P P P
8 R K B K Q B K R

Black pieces go closest to the letters, and whites go at the bottom. For example, if you want to move a rook from A1 to A4, put "A1 to A4" in your message. If thiers only 1 rook, just say "rook to A4". I get white. Sorry.

Aye, Chess is awsome, thats why I took the role as geek leader at my school and ran for geek.gif Chessclub President geek.gif . Needless to say I won using my natural charm and the opponents not-running stance to my advantage. smile.gif

Bring it on, but may I suggest something not so... clunky, howabout joining pogo.com or if it's still up itsmyturn.com so I may kick yous guy's without having to swim through the pile of spam my email address has accumulated.

Hell, I'll play chess with you man, i'm just too much of a lazy ass to play using text e-mail. Pff using an efficiantly simple way of playing with someone on the internet, really, where's the geek cred in that?

Damn school computer won't let me go to those websites. Does it cost any $$ to sign up at those places you mentioned?

No, not really.

ItsYourTurn.com Is basicly email board games, just more spiffy and user friendly. Free.

Pogo.com is a Huge game site that runs an assload of games one of which is *Bum Bum bum* chess. You have to actually sit through the whole game but I perfer to play it that way anyway. Free.

Pick whatever, I'll make an account and play if you want.

Hell, maybe we can host a whole boardgame club if I could get not lazy and organized.
