I was listening to U2 recently and I realized that the lyrics to one of their songs could very easily be altered to "Hold me, thrill me, Chris and, Trilby" What does that have to do with anything? I do not know, but it's something to think about. Anyhow I was wondering if you would consider reading my fantasy satire typed novel in the debate forums. The latest chapter involves pirates and you're somewhat an expert on that so I was thinking I might gain your opinion.

I'll read about pirates. I have a pirate comic going myself, but it's not on the net because I am dumb and don't know how.

Actually this post started off as just the thing about the U2 lyrics. Then I realized it would be insane to just post that so to make myself look more tactful and intelligent I posted a very tactless and stupid plug. But then again Yahtzee did write a book about pirates that I read so its not entirely unrelated. I would hope that you've all read The Search for Something? Actually it occurs to me that my plug would have been much more funny if I had posted it on an internet tech message board with the same message. I think I shall try that.

Edit: I just realized that when you post something on a message board without even providing a vague relation to the concept or ideas being discussed on said forum that it is considered spam. I also realized that internet tech people can be surly and seem to lack any interest whatsoever in pirates. Therefore it is clear that they are on the side of the ninjas and must die.

Ah, hello Dark Comet. I find your quote interesting because I was recently reading Lovecraft. You would think by that quote that the book it came from, "The forbidden city" I believe, would be good. But it isn't. That quote sticks out like a sore thumb in a very bland and long winded narrative that fails to be at all scary. The best Lovecraft piece I've read so far would have to be The White Ship. His stuff is public domain so you can look it up and read online if you want.
