Are the pictures already referenced in the database? What information is associated with them? (such as keywords or descriptions that could be searched) The way I would think to do it would be to set up a simple HTML form with a text box that, on submit, queries the database for a recordset containing all pictures whose description/keywords are like what the user entered, and then looping through it to display links to them on the page.

I'm still trying to figure out how to work with databases in PHP, but I am fairly familiar with ASP (which pretty much does the same thing as PHP, only running on a Windows-based server). So I'm not sure if any of that makes sense but if you need any more help or specifics then let me know. Alternately, you could probably find something that's already written (such as the Google) that would do the same thing.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

Just let someone else do the hard work and get an existing php script with a keywords search option

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....

Thank god for PHP Resource! I've found what looks like a rather handy little script, and now I've just got to actually make the specific pages its going to be searching. Thanks kids!
