The Neuromancer (The book that invented cyberpunk)
Count Zero
Mona Lisa Overdrive

By William Gibson, asked my favorite book dealer (seeing him in a pink shirt makes my day) to order them for me, should get them on monday.

I am reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm a fan of the books, but not a hardcore idiot who dresses like a wizard in the movie premieres.
Sorry, you won't be seeing a smartass sig here. Try with the next poster.

I met some of them in line to get the fifth book. They were funny.

I'm re-reading the whole Potty series, and I've already read the sixth.

I'm reading the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", currently on the fourth book of the trilogy of five.
And started reading them before the movie was mentioned around here. And, might I add even without having seen it: it sucks. It has to.

You people suck. Dressing like wizards is fun.

Hari: It does, rather. Would suck less if I'd not read the book.

I read them all before I even knew that there would be a mavie. I read them about five years ago. But the movie isn't as bad as you think. It has the same basic plot, but the movie I consider to still be good. It is in Mr. Adams's style. Except for the romantic subplot.

Ok. Then I'll give it a chance and see it in divx. thumbsup.gif

Transpotting's cool. Convoluted as fuck, but cool. Porno is good too.

I just finished reading Pratchett's new Tiffany book, A Hat Full Of Sky, and I have no words to describe the awesomeness. I will only say that it is now my life's ambition to be Granny Weatherwax when I'm old.

It's pretty hard to read, though. With the ah and ay and the slang.

Ha. Which one? tongue.gif

Yeah, you get used to it after a while. You kinda just have to say the words out aloud if you can't tell what they are. For a couple of days after I finished Trainspotting, I was speaking with a faint Scottish accent and calling everyone a cunt.

Glossary? I never had no glossary. It's not *that* hard to pick up on.
