Currently I'm reading the Wheel of Time saga. I'm half way across the fourth book (it's more than a 1000 pages!) and I should getting done with it by the middle of next month (I'm a slow reader) I hope to actually finish off with it all and get the 11th book soon (!).

Seriously, it's a great novel and a great series, but I have to wonder just where the heck does Robert Jordan get all his ideas? Come on, he's got 11 books so far and a prequel novel out (and another is one the way!) that makes it a total of 13 books! Many people criticize him on this point but I personally believe he's going for a world record! biggrin.gif

Adam Smith - Wealth Of Nations.

I just got a 55 volume set of classics from Britannica - other books in the collection include Shakespeare, Virgil, Gibbon, Darwin, Plato, Marx, and the rest of the collective, historical gang. Suffice it to say that will keep me busy for the next...oh...twenty years.

The True Game.

The one thing that irks me about it is that the lyrics to a song are given, but not the tune at one point in the book.
"YOU'RE MISSING A PERIOD. YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY, DON'T YOU? YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY THAT YOU FUCK WITH GRAMMAR? WELL, FUCK YOU AND FUCK YOUR MISSING PERIOD! I HOPE IT MEANS YOUR SLUTTY, NON-PUNCTUATED WAYS HAVE GOTTEN YOU TEEN-PREGNANT!"

Currently I'm reading "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" by Berendt. I liked the movie dispite some dismal criticism, and I thought it gave the book the worth of another read.

The dry humor is very relaxing.

Code of the Samurai - Thomas Cleary (translation)

its a translastion of the Bushido Shoshinshu by Taira Shigesuke. This is also known as the Way of the Warrior, the chivalric code of the samurai.

The Chronicles Of Narnia -C.S. Lewis

My girlfriend bought me a book that has all of the books in it.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

I got "The Idler Book of Crap Towns: The 50 Worst Places to Live in the Uk" for Christmas, but it isn't as funny as you'd expect.

"The In-Between World Of Vikram Lall." It's for class. It started out rather boring, but has become something of an interesting story. The fact it uses alot of words I can't even begin to pronounce, let alone translate, really drag it down.
