I can't believe Lucas has the nerve to write dialogue like this and then claim the film is going to be 'dark' and 'emotional'. As it is it's starting to sound more like a sub-par James Bond movie: "The name's Vader... Darth Vader!" Maybe Jordan's right and it's just a cunning plan to make the real dialogue look good by comparison...

if those one liners aren't a joke, this film is heading the same way attack of the clones did with Yoda lightsabre dueling like a hyper flea and, being according to the two films on numerous occaisions the most powerful being in the universe, NOT even winning.

that's a lame excuse. fact is lucas puts little thought into writing these things. it's like the time when almost 200 jedi, the most mythical and powerful beings in the universe, get killed by those anorexic trade federation droids in that arena battle who were sythed down like butter by qui gon and co no matter how many there were surrouding them. It's all for cheap action set pieces, and it totally ruins the romantism of the originals and its characters.

Don't defend this, UTF. It's a crap story. It could have been written any other way than what it was. Just because Lucas wrote it, just because he's the creator does not mean it's GOOD.
