Why can you upload a personal photo to go onto your profile, but you can't upload photos to post or use one as an avatar?

Please rectify this if you can Nate (can I call you that?). If not, complain to an appropriate person.

By the way, go look at my photo in my personal settings.

If you're trying to upload from your desktop, then you may have trouble. Upload through a server instead.

The easiest way to get your avatar working is to sign up at Photobucket.com (it's free as can be, and ever so handy!) and just link to the image.
