QUOTE (Slade @ May 6 2005, 09:56 AM)
I've finished it, and minus the senseless gnome violence I must put all five of my hats on and then take them off in your name.

Violence against gnomes is never senseless.

THAT'S IT. As soon as I get time, I'm going to write a piece on the prejudice and hate of gnomes. When I'm done, you'll all either be ashamed or laughing so hard that your gnome-hating teeth fall out. I haven't decided which.

Glamis is with a publisher now
just thought about how
publisher sounds a lot like butt blister
publisher.
I could get this published I say
i COULD make a poem out of this you know
I'll put in some stuff about love at the end
phoney crap just like that
and it'll be beautiful
you'll see
yes yes yes
love is the finest of things
as long as you don't get caught up in the rings.

You got a PUBLISHER? And you didn't tell me last night? DUDE! *high fives* I guess as soon as I get time to take off from working I'd best get editing like crazy.

No, no it dosn't POSESS a publisher, it's WITH a publisher. I was asked to send chapter one for their viewing enjoyment. I'm sorry my poem wasn't clear but as you might summise I was stoned when I wrote it. However it is interesting to know that Glamis has continued his journey all the way into the bowels of Aardwolf press.

their email is AardwolfPress@aol.com and it might help if some of you guys sent in emails. Just say you read some of my other work and heard that Glamis was being considered for publishing. It couldn't hurt to ask to pre-order one or ask for a review copy, or to ask if they'll be in bookstores in your country. Somehow I think that if they see theres a demand for Glamis in Poland, Australia, Great Brittain and various places in the U.S. it'll help them to see profitability.

Glamis was just rejected by a publisher for having too many jokes. Even though they publish both fantasy and humor I suppose my book is too funny for them. Their loss.

Sorry to hear that.
Fight the Power, JM!

Though I realise that is probably already one of your mottoes and therefore unecessary at this junction.

Hmmm I'm not sure what my motto is, so I'll just use something from Yahtzee's comics.

Crumpet, trumpet, java-strumpet.

The honorable Mr Hoffman has recently informed me that if I ever want to see my family alive, I must provide him with some artwork for his glorious creation. Although I feel the use of Snipers, kidnapping, and mind influencing narcotics are unnessacary, he has requested that I post anything I should come up with, for the purposes of character design.

(Just some messing around really, I've not had time to ink it properly, instead it's just been put through a few filters to hide most of the scratches, guidelines, and other garbage.)
