Not much territory to cover that's spoiler-free other than general Lucas-bashing. But that's what keeps folks coming back for more.

90 days, 23 hours out right now. Just thinking of plotting the course. A matinee would be a nice afternoon off, and if I'm letdown it won't kill the day.

I'm paying, the secret's out. What's the point of counting down 90 or 110 days to see it on the 93rd or 113th day?

Since the last lousy SW release, internet ticketing has taken off, with good reason. There's a nice theatre in another part of town. I'm always running late; That special line for internet tickets is great.

So when will they open the floodgates on the internet ticketing for SW? Hate to miss that.
It certainly does change things. Unless you like to camp-out on the sidewalk, what's the point?

then there's the repeat viewing. Pay to see something meaningful to you, and then get up to go to the bathroom.

Just wondering what traditions you folks might have for that special holiday.

It doesn't happen often folks; SW movies don't come out every day (well, for that matter, any more.)

Or maybe it'll come and go unnoticed.

Trying to get tickets is part of the whole mixed bag of emotions that comes with a new SW film. Even if you feel a bit stupid and frustrated waiting on the phone for an hour, just bottle it all up, then hit someone on the way out of the last Lucas "let down".

Getting tickets on the internet is the way to go, then.

Movie theaters are almost never crowded where I live. And if they are, they're only crowded on certain times, like at night when whole families go. Since most new releases are played at just about every single time they can over here, finding an empty time like midafteroon or mornings during the week end (since I'm probably going to finish college by then, it won't be too much of a hassle).

You know I've never done that. But it would a lousy reason to take off the next day.

I'm taking the day off tomorrow. smile.gif

But coming in at 3:00 am and NOT having had any fun?

then again, I'm sure it will be so good that people will be wired all night shifty.gif

this is going to be a good year. Hence, a sign of optimism.

Yet nothing could pull a vader, pinch.gif agreed.
