Jane: If those statements were coming from anyone else (especially the joy expressed over psychological damage), I'd be frightened.

And what is that supposed to mean? Am I not to be taken seriously anymore? Is that it? Am I some sort of joke to you? yell.gif

Janey, you're so cute when you're angry (and Natchitoches! That's where the writer of Bubba Ho-Tep's from!). smile.gif

I find the men vs women issue stupid. Women are more stubborn than men (in my experience) and don't back off from what they have decided no matter how wrong they are while men just ignore you or threaten to beat you up.

Really? From what I've seen, men are the ones typically more concerned with being "right" and proving themselves so.

Maybe it's a cultural difference, or maybe you just haven't seen a married couple yet.

Or maybe it's trait shared equally by both genders. Trying to figure out what traits displayed by which genders are intristic and what are culturally/socially/personally developed is a nightmare, as we had attempted in that thread in the News desk.

It's not that I don't take you seriously, Jane, I'm just desensitized to your lighthearted sociopathy.

Edit: And I have to agree with Civ, greed is universal.

Women can give birth. Passing something the size of a bowling ball through the hole the size of well, lets just say smaller than a bowling ball is an incredible feat of strength. That would be the equivelent to a guy passing a Milk Dud through his pee-pee.

Women are also good at making sandwiches. unsure.gif

I think females are much more likely to have cooties. Eeewww...cooties. Also, we're forgetting about the 3 other genders:
Herm: both testes and ovaries
Merm: testes and some female genitalia, but no ovaries
Ferm: ovaries and some male genitalia, but no testes
How do cooties affect these genders? I would say (in order of most cooties to least):
Female, Herm, Ferm, Merm, Male

Interesting point, I was thinking more of when guys are talking to other guys and girls are talking to other girls.

i'm going to put this quite simply...

women should not be in charge for two reasons;

1. 1 week out of every month, they become irrational, emotionaly unstable, and lash out like a viper on fire. you cannot have someone like that making life or death decisions.

2. women hold a grudge for WAY too long. if girls were in charge world peace would be even less likley and nukelear war would be inevitable...

Oh come on, not all women hold grudges like that! I personally sulk over something from anywhere between two hours to a couple of days - at the most - then forget about it.

Then again, I'm ADD, so it could just be me...

And as far as men ruling the world, I have four words: "Pissing contest" and "genitalia extension."

Besides, you'd be irrational and unstable too if you had to go through that every month... pinch.gif

Women are better than men because they don't make blanket statements like the above! blink.gif

Instead, they make blanket statements condemning blanket statements.
