ok. why do some things have to be the way they are when it comes down to dating, or more specifically,..finding someone to date.

why do so many girls insist on having a man who is tall? its like girls want a man who is at least 5'9""...do you know how unfair that is?.

call it natural selection i guess. in fact, come to think of it, i think "natural selection" really isnt even a conscious part of our thinking process when it comes to choosing a suitable mate.

men prefer women with long hair as opposed to short hair..we dont know why we do..we just do. ..im not saying i havent seen my fair share of gorgeous gals with cute short hairdos..but when push comes to shove,..locks rule.

but, hair is something anyone can grow,..height is not.

you can lose weight, you can go to college-get a better job, go to a store-get nicer clothes...and for women, they can get boob jobs.

but the unfairness of men being tall, is just something that really cant be adjusted too much,..unless someone invents a medical procedure that can extend the length of your legs or something...but even then, im sure it would render an unnatural look, compared to a man who is naturally tall.

if some of these women could lax their guard on being insistant on having a tall man, they would see that they are skipping out on a lot of men who are somewhat shorter, but are big on heart.

I, for one, have only dated men who were close to my height. I think I would be a bit more intimidated by a man who is a great deal taller than me, but I am about average height, myself. I have noticed that quite a few short women choose very tall men, but I have no theories as to why this is. Maybe because they can kick them more... there may be some truth to this. Someone should investigate...

But, seriously. Height is of little to little importance to me. There are far more important considerations to consider... such as, um, what color pants he wears. And, um, how he feels about crappy independent horror movies and action figures. Oh, and dogs.

I dated a guy who always wanted to play with my (then shoulder-length) hair. It got a bit creepy. When we broke up, I cut it short. It made me happy. He then dated someone else with long hair who dumped him quite cruelly. That made me happy too.
