The BEST Burton film of all time is Edward Scissorhands, I don't care what anybody says.

Beetlejuice wasn't all that good, I found it rather annoying and boring... I've half watched it once and I'll go out of my way just to avoid it.

I love it. I wish there had been more of Betelgeuse actually in it, but I still love it. That's probably why I loved the cartoon so much, it's all Betelgeuse...or Beetlejuice...or however the hell you want to spell his name.

If there's even one character I can get into, I will be forever devoted to whatever they came from.

I've got a Dune DVD, with a heart plug scene in it. I take it thats the extended one?

Yeah, I too have it on DVD with the heartplug scene. Curious.

And my five cents.. Picked a cheapo DVD of 15 minutes with De Niro last Sunday.
Watched it yesterday.

WHY! Why all the Eastern Europeans in American films are either psycho or prostitutes, unless when they are second generation, when they turn into flawless heroes? sick.gif

And I really don't know against what was the blatant propaganda about convicting the insane? As far as I know Americans do it all the time, there is no need to fight against it?

I just got the DVDs for Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Secret Window. Once again, I could not find a widescreen version of Edward Scissorhands in stock.

Bastards.

Ooooh, Once upon a Time in Mexico. I grow green with envy.

Very good movie, if you like this one pick up a copy of Desperado. It still has Antonio Benderas kicking an entire mexican town's ass, but sadly it doesn't Johny on it.

I'll have to look into renting that the next time I get the chance.

I just got the DVD of Benny & Joon (my third DVD purchase without ever seeing the movie beforehand, and it was WORTH IT), and I finally got the widescreen DVD of Edward Scissorhands! (*shrieks with delight*)

Oh, and what I added to the topic of best Tim Burton movies? Never mind. Shawnathan, you're absolutely right - it's all Edward. How could somebody not love him? happy.gif

Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen a single thing with Pauly Shore in it that I can remember (except for one episode of Mad TV), so don't get any of the jokes about him at all.

I loved Pauly Shore... Untill I turned fifteen.

And Madam Corvax, it's just that Americans are still bitter over Yuri Gagarin, and they don't care if you are from the USSR or not, you're just close enough! And the second generation heroes? That's them showing that America can turn the FILTH into something beautiful.

The greatest film that has come out of the 'Dream Factory' this Millenia is without a doubt Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Fights racial stereotypes head on.
