I assume that it has something to do with the whitewolf worlds. I've never played a non-computer RPG, so it's hard to say.

This might help a bit:

Vampire clans

Nicked from the manual for the first game, contains a few more clans and a bit more backstory.

Difficult. It's sticking heavily to the source material, in third person 3d, but each character has to be control separately or they do their own thing (i.e. get killed). so you send yor average fight switching between your different party members trying to stop them going hand to hand with a golem. The firearms are a bit useless, Plot is Lucas cringeworthy at times.

Has it's high points though, the voice acting is spot on in places, some of the levels (the easier ones; knights templar, Soceity of Leopold) are superb, and the multiplayer allows for a GM person who defines the adventure from pre built areas (14th century prague, London, and Manhatten) , writes the script, and controls monsters (perfect for your own Buffy\Angel style adventures).

Oh, and you can taser civilians. biggrin.gif

I'm doing malkavian next, then Nosferatu (for a chalange - as you can't go in public)...

Sorry? The game is Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. The first one(which I haven't played)is VtM: Redemption.

I'm doing my first playthrough with a Toreador. A quick sword arm with a quicker tounge. Next play through will also be Malkavanian. I mean, how could you resist? Then I'd like to try a Tremere, to see how neat the blood magic is.

When I'm finally able to get it, I think I'll start with Malkavian.

You said you got a 2 for $50 deal. If one was VTM:B, what was the second game?

Oh, right. I got "Secret of the Silver Earring", which is apparantly a Sherlock Holmes thing. I won't play it until I'm finished with Bloodlines, though. So it'll be awhile till I actually know anything about it.

Well, I was thinking of Toreador, but then I just get this image of Drusilla in all her madness stuck in my head, then some Alice In Wonderland and a few other crazy things, and it seems like a lot more fun.
