That article and the mention of the fact that no one really cares about the interest rate reminded me of my economics class, which is so incredibly boring that it makes me want to die. This is the only class that has ever made me say this. The teacher starts going on about marginal average aggregate cost ratio level revenue percentages and I'm gone. It's horrible. Except sometimes we have waffles. But yes, that program should be made.

I managed to make it through the whole of high school/college without taking economics. I got off easy.

I did take "Cost Control and Analysis" at culinary school though. Still, not the same, I'm sure. There were parts that were ven interesting!

That was an excellent piece. How did you photoshop that picture of him eating his glasses? I still want to know what the federal interest rate does and what it has to do with anything, but once I know that I'd be glad to put your greenspanometer on my desktop.

Wow, cullinary school. If only I could go to that I might be able to upgrade from an ordinary chef to a chefelf!

Wow, you're lucky that you got away without having to take economics.... And that picture with the glasses was definitely my favorite laugh.gif

I took economics in High School, not so long ago. It wasn't too bad though, because we had a fun teacher, and for our final, me and a friend made a set of comics about vaguely economical things. It was very fun. I'm not sure if I can post the url to them or not, but it's only my second post, so if I get banned, I guess it's not a big loss.

There should be 10 of them, with one or two other things in between them.
I finally got a sig!

Why thank you, Master Chefelf! May I call you Chefelf, or shall I refer to you by your full name, Cheffington J. Elfmyer? NJ will be most pleased by the compliment! happy.gif

For some reason, the Greenspanometer appeals to people who don't even care about about economics! Why is that, I wonder? blink.gif

For some reason I thought you were referring to New Jersey. Took me a second to realize you were referring to the comic's author. wink.gif

Does anyone really care about economics? I just find it impossible to believe that Alan Greenspan even does. Maybe he's just acting like he cares so he can keep his job.

I keep meaning to send your article on to my friend Ryan -- he cares passionately about economics.

He's a weird dude, though. smile.gif

I personally am a huge fan of the interest rate's rise. I predict it will go up to eight percent this year. You people who are against the interest rate can go screw off. The interest rate rocks! Yeah! BOOYAH!!11!
