Mate.... that was BRILLIANT! biggrin.gif You made my day.

The facial expressions, the timing... it was all perfect. I especially loved the part where Gandalf says "I'm a wizard!" and Boromir shoots him down by saying "But you're not a Ninja."

Gandalf's downcast expression after that was just wonderful.

Thank you so much, mate. Good stuff.

I'll pass the thanks on to my co-worker who passed it on to me biggrin.gif
(And hopefully he'll pass it on to the other co-worker who passed it on to him.)

I was expecting Legolas getting up saying: "but I am! I can skate on a shiled -and I can jump on a oliphant -and kill it and everyone sitting on its back -and get down without hurting me and none of my allies"

but legolas didn't show up tongue.gif

I really liked that mini-movie ^__^

btw I'm new here, should I read some rules posted somewhere before posting here?

Welcome Moonlight. It's always nice to have new members. And don't worry about your English. It seems pretty sound to me.

BTW, if you can speak a second language to the degree where you can have basic conversations in it, then you cannot possibly feel ashamed of your skills in that language.

I'm struggling to learn Korean at the moment and I think that anyone who can learn another language has every right to feel damn proud of themselves. I have nothing but admiration for them.

The Linkamajig seems to have broken or gone to Arkansas.

I think most people should try to learn a secondary language at the least. Icelandic youth and people are pretty good on the English side due to Telly exposure, but are horrid on the reading side because contrary to popular believe it is rare that people read something but newspapers. And with Icelandic pretty much sounding exactly like you write it unlike most languages, causes many horrid misspellings (my favorite one by a friend of mine today: Die of the dandegul) I too have much respect to those that are able to learn a secondary language well enough to be able to function in conversations and hide their nationality in writing.
I've already failed that at three different languages.

Fear not for I have found another link with it and a whole lot of other ones (some good, some...er... rubbish). The good one is Mordor.gif

Anyway, here it is -

I think so too. And for an English speaker like myself, if all else fails, one could always learn Spanish. It's the easiest of the lot from our perspective.

Korean however, ranks alongside Chinese, Japanese and Russian in the hardest languages for English speakers to learn.

However, if I wish to be able to converse with my girlfriend's family, I need to learn it. Otherwise, it'll just be friendly smiles and nods for the rest of my life.

wow, you make it sound really cool =P
I had to learn english at school, and then I needed it to enjoy forums and rpggames, so I cannot say that I speak and understand english like I can write it. I have some problems with that still =P
that's why now I like to listen to dvd specials and interviews with actors, it helps me a lot in learning english better happy.gif

oh well, maybe it's the wrong topic to talk about this tongue.gif

That was good actually. I've decided to unignore him anyway ~ he seems to be better these days.

By the way, Moonlight... where are you from anyway? What's your first language?

Just curious.

Finally found a working copy of the link. Brilliant.

Oh and if you really want to read the posting rules, they should be here:
http://www.chefelf.c...?showtopic=2344

Actually, I'd recommend reading them anyway, as they're quite funny.
