No I don't think Bush is the anti-christ, but it sure got your attention.
Although like alot of others would agree, he's not my first choice for president.

I heard people say what can we do to end this war.

I wish there was some way. I agree with you. Too many people are afraid to open their mouths in fear that they will be accused of being a terrorist.

I was upset when Bush senior went into office, I was upset when his son went into office, and after he got four more years ......well forget it, theres goes the country.

I believe he's oil hungry and used any excuse just to get his hands on the oil....come on, his family are oil people.

Now we as Americans are suffering for it and will continue to for quite some time.
I hate what's going on and it scares the bageebee's out of me, not just for me but for my children.

I think oil is just too obvious for it to be the only reason, I've read alot of conspiracy theories and though may of them talk crap, a few of them make sense. When I say make sense, I mean either they explain some things that the offical reasons didn't, or they just sound like the kind of thing that would happen in today's age of no pride and prejudice that we live in.

ps. I know Bush isn't the anti-christ because I am devil.gif

I'm the Anti-Christ of Suburbia; I'm cool with Jesus though.

Was it really neccessary to start a whole new topic to say that? You're obviously new, so you won't understand when I say I was prepared for something Hannibal had written, but that's not a good thing. There are already a few topics on people's thoughts on George Bush and his policies. Don't think that you need to go on shock value to get your point heard, if you had bumped another topic, we would have happily read your posts. We like to think we're not the masses over here.

At anyrate, welcome to the forums, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Yes I am new and will have to figure out how this whole thing works...anyways, i guess I was looking for a viewpoint since everything seems to be so different from what everyone else is saying.

Im guess what im asking is do you think its possible that by the year 2029 that there could be no more social security and the u.s. could go bankrupt.....now before you think im going into a major shock......im not, im sorry that it took me this long to really pay attention to what was going on around me.....ive never worried much about politics or knew much about them....but i guess if i did then I wouldn't be here.

Hmm... I have no idea. I thought that was intentional quoting the first time... Ask Chefelf.

Edit: Could be in your preferences... Also, if you could hear half of what I think, your skin would turn inside out and you would go insane. And depending on your age, don't beat yourself up on lack of political awareness. The cognative processes on that take a while to kick in... I didn't really start paying attention until... 1998, and then it was a slow and gradual process. In 2000, I only knew that the world would end if Bush was elected. Now I can tell you why!

Seriously though, it takes a while. And I believe thoughts on social security are on other threads as well. Although I'd be surprised if the US hasn't caused WWIII in 2029...

I just assumed you were njamllia, with the avatar and all. And hell, in the last American election, I didn't even know what the two parties were.

Giant Duche, and Turd Sandwitch. Those are the only parties that ever run for election here in the states. Come on Sime, I thought you kept up on the news better than that. *tsk tsk*

It's actually spelled "douche", and "sandwich". But I concur.

People called Nero, Napoleon, Hitler, and probably Castro Anti Christ. So I doubt it. If you buy into the idea of one coming, I think he will come into the world bringing peace and later will decieve everyone. Bush has not brought peace.

I have trouble with the book of revelations. It's difficult to grasp.

I keep up a bit more now, but that was back when I was in school, and I really couldn't care less about local politics, let alone foreign elections. To be honest, I didn't realise that the word Douche actually meant anything at all until South Park. I just thought it was a random insult.

No, it's a real word, which makes it so odd to be used as an insult. I mean, a think that cleanses vaginas? Pardon the colloquialism, but WTF?!
