UTF - That's me in a neck-warmer and my Strong Bad beanie with the logo turned around. I think it's funny to walk around like that on cold days, because it looks a bit absurd, and keeps my entire face warm.

Lecter - Browse the Star Wars forums for a while. It is indeed possible. How plausible it is, however, is open to interperetation.

QUOTE (Hannibal @ Feb 5 2005, 04:00 AM)
'He may be in need of some education on the atrocities the Nazi party participated in.'
Yeah, he isn't the only one.

Would you like a lesson? Everyone else here has had one, but for you, newbie, I'll cook up something special...

Hannibal, there is nothing you are going to say that is going to "teach me a lesson". You are a loud-mouthed little man, and I use the word man in the loosest sense possible. You are unable to convey your thoughts in a normal, civilized manner without resorting to personal attacks or character asassination. I will put no creedence into whatever it is you have to say. I will continue to laugh at your lame and pathetic rants and raves as you attempt to appear like an intimidating character. If you think you are treading any new territory by attacking me or anyother person on this board whose opinions and views do not jive with yours, you are mistaken. You are certainly not the pioneer of that tactic. Your posts are filled with tourette-syndrome tirades that attempt to make you appar like a tough-guy. So bring it on little fella. Because I can take it. I look forward to it. lets see what you have got in your box of tricks. It would be nice to see if you can convey your thoughts without the use of the f-word for once. But I doubt that will happen

Respectfully,
xmradiodave

Guys, please keep the fighting to the parking lot behind the bar. Or at least a forum I don't moderate. :-P

"Respectfully,
xmradiodave"

LOL.

Your arrogance is not all that uncommon. It does not excite me.

You have not the respect of this country or anyone on this board, believe me.

Hey, what did I just post? Stop throwing pop-shots around and just brood about one another in private like civilized people. If not for me, do it for the children. Or because I'm poking you in the eye.

if prince harry had gone to the party dressed as john wayne gacy, david berkowitz, manson, or ramirez... would that have been okay?

ANSWER

Probably, although the pictures would have offended relatives of their victims. I guess you can't get away with a brush off when you slaughtered millions.

Exactly!!!

So, it's just a numbers thing. that's all that matters? people don't mind if you dress up as a serial killer who killed 13 people by hand, or lewered young boys with a clown suit to your home, as long as it was less than a certain amount...

if you dress as Satan at a party does it make you a devil worshiper?
if you dress as charles manson does it make you a psycho?
if you dress as a dog does it make you a bitch?

honestly... it's a fancy dress party, he went as well known character or soldier of a well known villan-organisation...

fuck, the english have wiped out more people than the germans ever did, purley based on race.

america, virtually wiped out it's native population and imported another continents people as slaves,
australia, virtually wiped out it's native population, and did in tasmania.

the english have also wiped out a few species of animal too...

so i think before everyone gets upset about a member of the british royal family dressing up as the enemy, they should take a little stroll through history and realize the redundancy of their complaint.

If someone sees you dressed up as a murderer and they knew the victims, they're going to be upset. When you're in the public eye you shouldn't risk that sort of thing in anyform. If you're a nobody, you can take the flak\apologise. If you're a representative of a country, then you should have some common sense. We're not saying that it makes Harry a Nazi, we're just saying that he's an idiot for offending so many people. Harry might have gotten away with Charles Manson, at the very least there would have been less of a media feeding frenzy.....

Yes, the British are a murderous lot, as are most civilisations, and yes, harry's distantly german, but that doesn't mean I should flaunt it. We're supposed to be better than that.

Diana lead Fleet street a merry dance when it suited her, she even thought she could control it. Then when she wanted out, she ran into problems. (no jokes about tunnel walls please....)

Fair point, the press should go easy on him, but he should also go easy on the rest of us.

What's supposed to happen and what does happen are often radically different. The point Barend was trying to make was that people shouldn't get offended for dressing up in a costume, regardless of what that costume is.
