I might be going back to school??!!

So it looks like I might end up taking several courses at RISD to earn a Fast Track Certificate in Maya. I've wanted to do some (better) computer animation, and this looks like the way to do it. My Aunt has just recently gotten involved in doing special effects for some films, and well has inspired me.

The question is.. can I really handle homework again?? *Dreadful background scream goes here*

In any event, if I do this, I'll certinly have some new projects and will most likely put them up on the web.. (along with a new updated website..) And maybe.. if I'm nice enough, Chefelf will let me have a fourm here smile.gif ) (Or help me set up my own..)

I'll keep everyone posted.

But of course, srmoore. I do not envy you the chore of having homework again. Paul and I took a networking course two summers ago and getting into the swing of classes and homework again was a little tricky. You'll get used to it though. Especially if it's something cool that you enjoy like Maya.

Jenn, you failed? How is that possible? You went to class most of the time until the last couple of weeks, didn't you? I hope you didn't suffer a massive head injury or anything...

No, I'm ok. But my class was really boring and had nothing to do with what I wanted to do in the future, so I just resigned (failed, yes, but because ... ). I'm going to Fanshawe next year becase they have a REALLY good Graphic Arts program. And that's what I really wanted to get into.

Well today was the first day of registration at RISD for the spring session...
I got all my paperwork sent in (via fax)

looks like I'm actually going to do this this time!
(i've tried many times before but never followed through.)
