Chefelf - the reasons to hate the DVD edition of Return of the Jedi are coming?  For real?

Mate, we've all been hanging out for those.

For real. It's 98% done. Just having Jacques proofread/edit two last minute entries. smile.gif

It will be up Monday, January 17.

This is a major logic hole. Lucas expands the "workin out" song, adds crappy characters via cgi for his new denizens of younglings (fans,) and turns his back on Yub Yub? That song Caters to his preferred audience!

But we don't live in a perfect world, all we live in is a stupid world full of stupid people. So there!

Well then: what WOULD BE the perfect world from the SE?

Obviously, I'm looking forward to Monday and Chef's glowing assessment of ROTJ.

Tatooine has more zipping junk in the air, nahh. Cloud City was the only decent SE moment that quickly comes to mind, gotta consider Bespin.

Endor, named for the END of Star Wars, OR maybe not? tongue.gif

Yes, of course Endor's a moon (sigh)

I'll admit and hold my head high as I say that I LOVED "Lapti Nek" when I was a new SW fan. I loved it. I loved the celebratory montage at the end of ROTJ, too.

But-- the old version of the throne room song wasn't that bad, though I still prefer the new one slightly. And hey-- if a person wants to see that and the 'yub-yub' song on DVD with full Dolby Surround sound (the audience is listening), then they should be able to!

Yet another reason why Lucas should have released both versions on DVD...
