Wasn't that line used in the election that first elected Blair?
You our right though. we've got a choice out of the Joker, Vlad, and some alcoholic scotsman. (Oh and the BNP, but don't even think of talking them up)
Which is why I'm proud to say I voted for the natural law party.

Hmmm you know I can actually blame Blair on British humor as well. I'm sure that crazy Monty Python is involved in it. Or maybe it's more like "who's line is it anyways" where Bush tells Blair what to say or do and Blair does a hillarious improv act.

I can see it now:
Clive: Ok Tony, George has just told you that you're going to war with Iraq, and you have to justify it to the British public.
Tony: Well, you know, We've decide to go to war, beacuse, well, We think Saddam has weapons of mass destruction. Well, um, British intelligence thinks otherwise, but well, I think it's the right thing to do, you know, but, well, I......

I don't know anybody who supports Howard, but he got elected here by a landslide. Funny really.

Clive: Tony, George Bush says you need to make a case to the UN to defend this war and you have to use.... A bowl and a trailer home.
Tony: Well... Well you see... yes yes this bowl was found in a trailer home once owned by Saddam Hussein. Did he mix anthrax in it? I don't know it's possible. Why wouldn't he? You think it's a trailer home but it's really a ummm... A mobile weapons lab yes yes!

And who would they be? Powell and co? Let's not go down this route otherwise we'll end up discussing David Ike's theory that the world is ruled by shapeshifting lizards.
NTCM, the WMD's were are factor in the justification of our little invasion, Bush just relied more on Saddams debatable links with Bin Laden. MI5 said there wasn't much evidence of them, Hans Blix couldn't find them, The nuclear watchdog drew a blank, but we went to war anyway. Makes Bush a little bit more scary when he rides roughshod over the facts prevented.

"Saddam's things to do today:
1 Build weapons of mass destruction
2 Put cookies in oven
3 Visit Uday and Qusay and grandkids."
So you see, this memo, produced mysteriously in English and in George Bush's handwriting is proof that Saddam wanted weapons of mass destruction. And if theres one thing I know about the law its that you can be arrested just for wanting something, like the time I got thrown in jail because I said I'd like to get head from Barbara Bush.
