I'd be interested in seeing a remake of the silent German film "Metropolis" but it probably wouldn't turn out all that well. I hear there are more remakes of "The Fly" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" in the works along with a remake of David Cronenberg's "Scanners", which I don't think is really necessary.

Anyone else?

I personally debate why they had to make an English/American version of "The Grudge". Other than the obvious reason, "cashing in on The Ring".

As for films yet to come out? Not sure. Generally, its a lot nicer if people try to make innovative new films, rather than redoing what is usually already a good film. Oh yeah, we're talking Hollywood here, gotcha.

Chyld, your avatar reminds me of the Punisher.

Do you think Batman Begins and the Superman movie Bryan Singer is working on can be considered "remakes"?

Ohh, the Punisher, bad movie, bad movie remake, good comic. Who knew Tampa Florida was the country's #1 hotspot of crime. pinch.gif
