Chyld - in regards your appearance and such... I dunno, you look okay to me. Most people don't really strike me as particularly attractive or particularly ugly until I get to know them. Otherwise they're just people, and my visual first impressions of them are based more on their clothes and hairstyles and so forth, as a (very) basic guide to their personalities. It's only occasionally that I'll see someone and think, 'Wow, they're pretty spunky/ugly', and to be ugly, I mean, we've gotta be talking monstrous here, like 500-pounds with a harelip or something.

Who the fuck says someone else is hideous anyway? What morons. The definition of attractiveness is entirely subjective. I've had hardcore crushes on guys who refused to believe that I didn't think they were ugly, and most of the celebrity types that my friends used to swoon over never did anything for me whatsoever (I actually used to wonder if I was a lesbian because I didn't think David Duchovney was incredibly sexy).

I am not vain or saracstic, only I've been always told by all any sundry that I am ugly

More proof to my theory that the masses are complete idiots.

QUOTE (Chyld @ May 11 2005, 10:16 AM)
Now here's what I've never been able to work out. I keep being told that I'm hiedious, and I keep being told that I'm not. I really don't know what I am...

Depends who says what; if a girl tells you you're hiedious, and your mother tells you're not, then it's probably best to go with the first option. She could be a bitch though (the girl, not your mother), so just ignore what everyone says and enjoy life.

Also take into account that people are more likely to post pictures of their better sides.

What about believing yourself that you're a fat, ugly bitch, or even your own mother tells you that you could be doing better? Not much self-esteem in that area, to be perfectly honest.

Note the fact that I've barely posted any pictures.
Check out my crappy drawings!

Chyld is an ignorant slut.

It was for a wisdom tooth. sadly, what was slated as only taking "20 minutes" ended up taking an agonising (seriously) 2 hours! I needed 5 injections to keep the pain at bay, then 3 stiches, then a nice lie down...

Well, for a wisdom tooth surgery you look pretty relaxed, Jariten. After my first extraction I thought I was going to eat my shoes. Second one was better. But my dentist told me I would lose the other two too...

Mine are just coming in. Since I've always had notoriously straight teeth, I don't think I'll need to get them pulled.
