Okay, to further hone my re-writes for the prequels, I was wonder what people thought about the speed at which the clones were created.

Now, in my scripts, it's the Mandalores who've surrounded what is now Alderaan, and are stealing the the clone technology. Now, five years to create clones for an army seems even in that time frame not enough time to create clones, and especially in AOTC, they've only created less than a million---this just does not seem like a lot to me, especially in galaxy-wide conflicts. Shouldn't there be hundreds of millions?

Anyway, in my rewrite of Episode II, the Mandalores pervert the cloning technology to pump out clones at a quicker rate (matter of hours, or at most days), and they're fully grown and ready for battle when emerged. Does this seem Star Wars-esque to you?

You should read Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novels. They provide some great insight into the history of cloning. Although obviously they were written before Lucas made those forsaken prequels.

Yeah, I have read Zahn's books, and I think I like his ideas for Clone Creation much better than what Lucas presented.
