Hey,

I noticed there isn't a thread to discuss P12, just the bugs.
Anyway i wanted to know what cool things people have come across whilst playing such as away missions and stuff, i dont quite get how the game works e.g how you go on away missions and stuff.

One question,
Are there any mini-games such as shooting and stuff in the game?

*slowly walks into the thread… notes the cobwebs in the corners and the tumbleweed blowing lazily outside… pulls up a stool and pours a glass of vodka… but before taking a drink, he gets a strange sensation that something is expected of him and adds:

Oh, yeah, great game…

*and thus finishes off a glass of what he discovered-all-too-late, was turpentine…* blink.gif

Meh, newbie to newbie…

Yes, I have played the game, but it could use more minigames like you said or have more random events occur because quite frankly, I lost motivation after bonking every female crewmember on the ship, and the room upgrades are waaay too distant for me to be an aspiration, so I’m at a bit of a lose.

I was kind of hoping the last upload, which slowed down the career and relationship processes, would have made the game last longer. Maybe you guys have just played the earlier version so much that you just can't give the current release an unbiased view. Seriously, hasn't anyone gotten further than the first couple of months yet? I kind of want to release this game before my interest in it disappears completely.

Oh, and I have an assignment for you: you have to find out what the term 'Blumpkin' means, in a sexual context. Post here when your mission is successful, but without explicitly saying what it is. Let everyone else find out on their own, it's more fun that way.

Actually… I do have the latest version, it’s just that the progress is slow and it would be nice to have something to fill in the space in between.

Like letting the player actually participate in some actions, e.g. when going out to dinner, instead of the game displaying a message saying so, you are there in the restaurant choosing what to have for dinner and what to say (which is then calculated to be a good or bad choice, determined by your date’s interests)

And by the way, don’t submit to lose of interest, it’s a real bitch who doesn’t know what it wants… just one game maker’s advice to another…

Ooohhh, a mission/assignment!

Gees! Good thing I didn’t go Google Image search! *gets idea*
Err…yes… you need to get a blumpkin?

…say… you didn’t do this just so you could distract us from the matter at hand!? Did you? Hmm… cunning…

By the way… is there an edit button for previous posts? Or do you just post new posts?

Don't worry, I found the button...

I'm sorry, I haven't done a lot of playtesting lately because I've been a lazy fucker. I'll get back to work when I'm back in the cold, cold North.

is there a feature that lets you rob the armory and go on a mass murdering spree around the ship killing anyone and everyone that you like, and saving the captain for last, then with blood everywhere walking upto the captain and say "so, we meet again" and he says "if i give you that promotion you've been asking for..." and thats when you pull the trigger and take over the ship before becoming a free range pilot going around killing other ships and nicking their money and stuff... erm yes well anyway i wanna nick some guns from the ship

Just hack the store, buy a gun, and murder everyone! SO much easier!
