Guy I could do without:  Keanu Reeves.  I know, he's in a load of fun movies, but in any one of them I'd have preferred Christian Bale.  Now he's going to play John Constantine, nailing shut the coffin on another potentially good another comic book adaptation.  Should I bother to mention that Constantine is English, charming, and intelligent?  Physically, he's based on Sting when he was younger. (See for yourself).

Oh crap! I didn't know this. This has just ruined my evening. I am so sick of these guys getting casting so very wrong. In an age where comic book movies really should be able to come to life on the screen they keep screwing up the casting. Anyone whose seen Dracula or Much Ado About Nothing has got to know that Reeves cannot do English.

To chime in on the Daredevil discussion also. I believe the film would have been better with Matt Damon playing Murdoch. Not only does he have the physicality and acting ability for the role, but he also has the look. Much at Constantine is the image of Sting, Matt Murdoch is the image of Matt Damon.

They actually did offer the part to Matt Damon but he turned it down. Too bad.

There are a lot of actors and actresses that I don't like. Sometimes I don't mind people in certain roles, but overall I dislike the rest of their work. I don't watch a lot of movies, though.

I've never been very keen on Tom Cruise, although I think he did a good job as the motivational speaker in "Magnolia." For some reason Cameron Diaz has always bugged me.

I guess I'm one of the few people who isn't annoyed by Keanu Reeves. I admit some of his attempts at British or Southern American dialects are pretty amusing, but I can't help but like the guy. I'm more partial to his early work though like River's Edge, Permanent Record, and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Keanu doesn't bother with an English accent in Constantine. I saw it over the summer as a meber of a preview audience and was underwelmed, not with the movie, but with Keanu.
