Animaniacs
Tiny Toon Adventures
The Pirates Of Dark Water
Captain N
The Real Ghostbusters
The Super Mario Brothers Super Show
Freakazoid
Biker Mice From Mars
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (still rocks the new one's socks off)
Transformers
Batman: The Animated Series
Hammer Time
Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventures
C-Bear And Jamal
Samurai Pizza Cats
Masters Of The Universe
GI Joe
Beetlejuice
Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes
The Tick
Super Dave Osbourne (yeah, he had a cartoon)
Eek The Cat
Ren & Stimpy
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad
Little Dracula
Spiderman
X-Men
And of course, The Simpsons was still funny and original.
I'm sure that I probably left some out.
Man I saw pretty much all of those. Some more than others. I really miss "Tiny Toons"; I wish they would put that on DVD already. "Samurai Pizza Cats" were fun too, as were "Tick", "GI Joe" and AOTKT. Has anyone listed "Thundercats"? You know - "Thunder... Thunder... Thunder... Thundercats, HO!"?

I happen to enjoy 'Fairly Oddparents' and 'Sponge Bob' quite a bit.

I remember that show pretty vividly. It had a really good theme tune. The danger of revisiting the shows you loved as a kid is that you realise that what you were really enjoying was a sloppy, plot holed mess. I'm content with downloading the theme songs every now and again.
Other shows I loved (and would like to watch again?)
Visionaries
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
Bluffers (i've never met another living soul who has even heard of this bizarre european effort. It was a reallt odd anti-capitalism cartoon with ugly talking animals)
Ovide
M.A.S.K
Mysterious Cities of Gold
80 Days Around the World (epic!)
Ulysses 31
Do you mean 'THE BIG BAD "I SAID NO!"'?

Most of the things I watched when young were actually quite old already, like Mr Benn and the Clangers. However, the ones that really fascinated me were the really bizarre and inexplicable ones: Biker Mice From Mars, Muppet Babies, the entirely superfluous and somewhat worrying cartoon spin-off series of The Mask. I didn't enjoy them, so much as be entranced by the sheer pointlessness of it all.
However, the best TV show I ever saw when young was Maid Marian and Her Merry Men. Now that was quality children's programming.

That sounds...familiar from somewhere. I know I must have seen it or have heard of it, but I can't remember how.
Does anyone remember an old anime thing that showed a bunch of fairytales? I can't remember what it was called, but I used to watch that all the time when I was little, and I absolutely loved it (now that I really think about it, I never even realized that I was watching anime at the time...). The whole thing was very cool, and I don't think I'd even know about some of the stories they covered if I hadn't watched it.

The cheesetastic early Superfriends (click here and here ). It was one of the first precursers to my nerdy lifestyle of today, and it's just damn funny to reminise about.
and the 3-D Starship Troopers cartoon, I dunno, it just kicked ass.

I remember that. It was an excellent satire, I think. I haven't seen it in over a decade, though.
