Hey, does anybody know where I can get a copy of the game, the comics, or the short lived television series? The Hub (our beautiful p2p server) here has nothing except one pic of max. I am dismayed, as the TV show was hilarious when I saw it (I still use gags from it at times). I've heard the game is even better and has more mature jokes. Can anybody help a brother out? And do we mean mature like satire/farce/parody, or innuendo?

Lucasarts just released anotheer cash in pack with DOTT and S&M. Saw it the other day when I was in town. You can probably download S&M at underdogs or something, but it won't be the talkie version. sad.gif The Conroy Bumpus song alone is worth the cost of the game.

there's a $30 one on there with Fate of atlantis included (Lucasarts archive), but not just the other 2. It was going for £10 when I saw it. Might be different UK\US releases.

What?
How many S&M games are there?
I've only ever owned 'Sam & Max - Hit the Road', but that game was pretty good.

EDIT - Fixed spelling errors.

Sorry, the pack's got the aforementioned DOTT, and S&M, + Dr jones. Confusion caused by the weekend you know. There's only one S&M game, although Lucasarts keep dangling the prospect of a sequel in our faces like some sadistic gaming carrot.

'buy our rubbish star wars cash-ins and we'll make a game you like!'

Incidently, did you know max's head appears in lots of lucasarts games?

Actually lucas cancled it.. and then canned all their adventure type game developers.

BUT there is a bright side to this...
Those developers started their own company.. and have said that their first release was going to be 'Something that everyone knows and wants." and have hinted that it would be Sam and Max.

Sam & Max is very good. I think it's still available in the UK as part of a 'LucasArts Entertainment Pack' containing four classic LucasArts adventure games.

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I was sure I downloaded it with sound from the Underdogs, but I think there were extra files you had to get. But when I think of it, the sound files would have been too big to download from there. I am now confused.

Regardless, I think it's a brilliant game. I wish I got to watch the show. I remember it was shown in the mornings at one point, but I was on the school bus by then.

I've been wanting that game for years now but have never been able to get a hold of it. I feel there is something significantly wrong with that, and that I've been deprived of something extraordinary.

I have a feeling that I would really love Max...
