Dig!
Is this all you? vocals and all?

I'm curious as to how you became so wacko for the Industrial stuff.

yes, all me...

except the CEOXiME track... it's a remix i did of one of their songs...
(but the female vox should be a give away...)

i also had a very Roxy Music/David Bowie/T-Rex sounding track... i'm trying to hunt down (all the places i had put it are gone)...

as for wacko over the industrial stuff... it's more a loose affiliation... in that i like the old school experimantal synth/electronic and other stuff, but not all these metal bands with keyboards who call themselves 'industrial'...

i'm not really a goth or rivet head... i just like interesting music...

Sorry, i should have phrased my question diffently. But your answer was satisfactory. A+

Very cool Barend! I like your stuff on the Audiostreet site. I'm not that heavy into industrial music in general, but I do like early Swans, Meat Beat Manifesto, and Throbbing Gristle quite a bit.

Swans, Meat Beat Manifesto, and Throbbing Gristle?
you just get cooler every time you post...

yeah, i only really like the 70s 80s "industrial" too...
(and that bands that started then that are still going)

i think the Tea Party stole alot of fame that should have gone to the Swans for their later stuff (early 90s)...

I've never heard Tea Party, I'll have to look them up. Yeah, as far as Swans I like the albums Filth, Greed, and Body to Body Job to Job probably most of all, but their later stuff isn't bad either. Their lyrics can be at times shocking, but at the same time laughable because they're so melodramatic. Come on, "Punch a knife in me, walk away, I'm worthless, I'm worthless!" I think Michael Gira's got one of the coolest baritone voices in rock music.

Godflesh is another band worth checking out if you're not already familiar with them. They're into the drone-core sound.

Rockin', dude. Again, I'm envious and wish I had the motivation to make music. (I'd like to insult my talent, but I won't know until I actually make some music. I've thrown down some lyrics that people like, but have no music to go with them.)
