HAPPY BIRTHDAY Laura!!!!!

I don't believe we've met, but I noticed your listed on the forum as having a birthday today and thought it important to wish you well on this fabulous day.

I hope you get everything you want.

I now also have a question. With a birthday so close to Christmas do you often find that the two days get squashed together? My birthday is the 29th so I'm curious how it goes for other close to Christmas kids smile.gif

My birthday is a week before Christmas, and I used to get 2-in-1 gifts all the time. I suggest that you give 2-in-1 gifts to anyone who does that to you, regardless of when his birthday is. “Since you’ve shown me that it is much more convenient to give someone one gift for both birthday and Christmas. I know you’re born in June, but why should that matter?”

Ha ha! I get to say the same about Dec 29th. Smack in the middle of summer. Of course, I love the hot weather so I guess this makes it a little different biggrin.gif

Thanks for the advice on gifts also Jacqueline, I'm going to keep the 2 in 1 idea in mind and keep a record of people that do this to me.

I wonder if you can buy cards that say Merry Birthday??? dry.gif

You must be loony, boy! December is in the middle of winter, not summer. Is there a person on earth who doesn't know that?

Sarcasm recieved and accepted smile.gif Having said that, it's not the first time I've been called loony.

I have my people trained. If it's someone I exchange both kinds of gifts with, both kinds of gifts I get. (It doesn't hurt that my mom has a Christmastime birthday, and memories of two-in-one presents don't stop haunting, people.)

Just ask my dad about the time he tried to get my mom a two-in-one birthday/anniversary present. He tried that little trick once.

Once.

My sister's birthday IS Christmas. Naturally, since I don't like her, she usually only gets one gift outta me. But this year I'm giving her a belated birthday gift (no money, you see, for a couple of weeks). My birthday is in November, and if I lived in the US, it would be around the American thanksgiving. Kooky, no?
