I have two questions about that classic flash toon:

1. The file name is octopus2.swf. Is there, or has there ever been, an octopus.swf?

2. Was the owl sedated for this role? Answer me honestly, now.

Yes there was. It was the same thing it just had a different bitrate for the audio. I think it was compressed more for the final version so that it took up less space on the server.

Yes, everyone was sedate for their roles in that film.

I loved this film, it was far more uplifting than "an Irish tale" mainly because noone died in Ignorant Octopus.

Aww, but I liked An Irish Tale...

As did I Chyld. All I mean is that Ignorant Octopus is more of a feel good film, maybe a comedy, while Irish Tale is more like a greek tragedy. If only the horses had known about the Presario, if only they hadn't left Ireland, Oh it brings tears to my eyes, someone hold me...

Ay, but the tragedy is countered by that wonderful Irish accent.

I don't think it's necessarily a counter, I think it's more a delightful paradox between the jig music and the cheerful Irish accent and the horses and then on the other hand you have the abject tyranny of the compaq presario. It's a bitter sweet thing.
