After some tweaking and a 24 hour beta test, the Night Life Arcade is open and ready!

Just What is this Arcade Business?
The Night Life Arcade is an area where registered members can go and play a number of different arcade games. You can compete for high scores, personal best or just the sheer joy of knowing that playing Pacman on the clock will cost your boss money!

So how do I see this marvel?
Simply click on the "Arcade" link on the top of the forum. If you are too lazy to do this I have provided a handy link to the Arcade here for your convenience.

I already spend enough time on this dumb site. Why have you done this to me?
Sorry. I figured it would be a fun mod to install and keep us all entertained. Don't hate me. Try loving me instead. wub.gif

What Games are there?
So far we have: Asteriods, Breakout, Hexxagon, Moon Lander, Pacman, Simon, Snake, Space Invaders and Tetris. There will be MANY more games coming. Keep checking out the Arcade. I will post a link to the Arcade forum shortly (after it is set up) to keep you informed of games. smile.gif

And what is this nonsense about recording high scores?
High Scores are recorded for all games and champions are awarded. Moderators have already tested the arcade so you'll note that Yahtzee is currently the reigning king of the arcade.

That is all for now. Check the Arcade Forum (future) for updates and information. smile.gif

Well, I kicked Snake's ass, but now I seem to be losing interest in some things rather quickly.

Why not just submit to my Snake-conquering benevolence? I can be just as obcessive about it as you can...

*actually checks Janes track record*

Hmm. Well, I played it many, MANY more times than that, just that I refreshed, rather than saving it...

Bah, it's not very good. Mario's jumping ability in this version was actually downplayed from the original, as if that were even possible.

This may sound far fetched, but some of those games are harder than modern ones. I found the first 3 worlds of KOTOR hella easy compared to moon landers first one.

Agreed. A lot of these games are REALLY friggin' hard. There is something to say about the classic arcade syle where the game just keeps speeding up infinitely and tests the limits of your human reflexes. Games just don't do that anymore.
