Well, I can neither afford it, nor have the computer to run it, nor do I want it anyway...
Give me the latest beer anyday. People berate BeerXP, but it's crashes less than Beer98 did, and it's blue!

I must be in the minority. I have never played Half-Life, I don't even know what it's about, and to be honest, I don't really care.
Check out my crappy drawings!

Half Life isn't important, neither is Half Life 2. It's the engine you want. If you buy Half Life you get access to a jizillion third party mods as well as some other mods hosted by VALVe. You can say Fable was Overhyped, you cannot overhype Half Life 2 because you cannot insult it, it's basicly just a show off of this great engine. The storyline and characters are pure shit anyways, it's all about the engine.

It looks very good though I'm not entirely sure my brand new supercomputer that I just built will even be able to handle it.
However, I'm far to caught up in Halo 2 to bother with HL2 right now. Perhaps after I grow tired of Halo 2, but that seems like it won't be for a bit.

I don't know what Halo is either, but everyone I know on a daily basis is always talking about playing it or who kicked whose ass at it.

Halo: Kickass FPS about a superhuman who shoots aliens and blows up aliens and zombie-things.
Halo 2: Assumably, more of the same.
...I can't wait to get home and see if my sibling has it

Sure, I only played it for one afternoon, but I thought Halo was a load of pants. I have no idea why everybody loved it so much, as it seemed like a clone of every other FPS game out there. Half Life was good for it's time, I guess, but I played it a few years late. I completed it, just so I could have bragging rights, but I thought the game dragged on way too long. Interestingly enough, I killed the giant baby thing with no armour and one health. I missed some of the ending because I thought I'd just died again.

Pah! I don't need no Half-life 2! I can program my own engine:
