I also forgot to mention that Nintendo makes the're machines very well. I've dropped my GameBoy many a time and it still runs fine. The only time one ever broke was when I stepped on the screen and crushed it. It still worked, but the screen was just broken.

Also, I played a lot of SSBM during the Florida Hurricanes, and once we had a power surge that turned everything in the house off. The only thing left running was my GC. Even the TV I was playing on turned off.

SSBM is good, I'm just terrible at it and it makes me depressed.

Majora's Mask on it's own was a good game, but it was by no means a fitting sequal to Ocarina of Time. That, and young Link just pissed me off.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ohmy.gif

Young Link is my fave Link!!!
Thats my fave character in SSBM!

I do agree that it just wasn't the same kinda game as OOT but I thought it was a goood game though. One thing that was a bit wierd about MM was that the 4 dungeons were on the four compass points, just a little too convenient for me. Marsh, Mountain and so on???

It's a video game, you should expect convenient by now.

And sure, Young Link was great in SSBM, but he was annoying in OoT. He could do no damage, had no hookshot, and had an annoying high pitched voice.

I've never liked young link. And I think he sucks in SSBM, he has no knockout attack except the sword between the legs thing.

floppy - what about his second swipe on his forward smash attack? thats powerful! ...plus Y.Link is a combo kinda character, the way I play him is by running around really fast so no-one can hit me and then doing the sly arrow/boomerang/bomb/spin attack... then doing the dreadded 'Sword between legs attack'... great stuff

sime - yeah but he had a slingshot! smile.gif

Like the Kokiri Sword, the Slingshot did sweet fuck all damage. Give me the Bow anyday.

yeah, but thats the challenge of vulnerability.
the Tri-Force that is in Link is Courage, if he is a big strong bloke, he is not gonna need his courage now is he?
The reason why I like him is cause its like the only weapon you have against your enemies is your courage. I realise that this must sound pants, but hey, its The Legend of Zelda...

I agree with you there. It just gets frustrating when you're on the second play through. After taking down most enemies with ease, you're stuck with a little weakling who screams all the time. God I hate high pitched voices.
