Jane, cuddling isn't something to shy away from. It puts you in closer striking distance.

Hmmmm...

Icey.
If you weren't already taken,
and if you weren't so far away.

I'd want you to be the father of my children.

Awwww Princess.... thank you so much, that made me cry a bit and not a lot could do that. This truly is a beautiful thing to hear...

There is just no way for me to reply to tell you how much that meant to me.

I meant every word.

I'd wish that every woman in the world could have a partner like you, and,

every baby born on this planet could have a dad like you.

You are beautiful.

Bloody hell, Little Princess, you're laying it on a bit thick, aren't you? All you've seen is a picture. For all we know it could be Baby Doom, come to Earth to enslave the human race and cast a shadow upon the galaxy for four score generations.

I'm going to go out on a limb now, though, and assume it doesn't, because I'm pretty certain Baby Doom is already among us.

Congratulations, Icey, you have ensured your legacy to the human race. Now comes the hard part of devoting almost constant attention to it for the next twenty years. And I know that seems easy now, but you just wait until he's started asking you for money and playing Nine Inch Nails.

Seriously, good on you.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

A *seriously good on you* from Yahtz
is the equivalent of me laying it on ten times as thick.

Awwww, thanks Yahtz! I am hopefully prepared for the "gimme money" and loud music thanks to my relatively not too high age and one of my friends being a moron who likes loud music. But the part I'm deading the most is the....

Fuck you dad! I HATE YOU!

Which simply terrifies me, oh how cute and cuddly he is right now, with him barely opening his eyes and then giving me a soft smile but knowing that one day he might do said things to me.... That's just scary shit. I hope it'll never come to that.

How far till you and Rhubarb start breeding, Yahtz?

Such children would be the most cynical, pissed-off kids in the world, I can but imagine... blink.gif

Methinx my kids would be locked up in a mental asylum by their fifth birthdays...

I wouldn't worry about that, Icey. Unless you screw up severely somehow (which you won't), if those words ever come out of his mouth then they'll probably just be a spur-of-the-moment anger thing, or completely meaningless and just said for shock-value. I used to cuss about my mother all the time from age twelve to fifteen, but these days I wouldn't dream about doing that again (most of the time)...

Still, I'd say you have a bit more than a decade before you have to worry about that kind of thing.

Yeah, I sure hope so... I never pulled an "I HATE YOU DAD!" scene, but I did that to my mom several times, when I was sixteen.

And I don't regret it one bit, I feel that she's failed me, at some point she just gave up on being a parent and then meh, something. Anyway, I just hope I won't lose the passion like she did.

Alexander threw up on me today, woo! It totally rocked.

A small inquiry, what nationality does Myrkvi sound like?

According to something I found in a random search online:

myrkvi, m. (1) darkness; (2) dense fog (cf. 'mjörkvi ').

I think it said it was Old Icelandic.

...Um, congratulations on the spit-up? blink.gif

EEeeeee, thanks Janey! biggrin.gif Honestly, it was better than it sounds. Kinda made me all wheee!

I know the origins and meanings, I'm just thinking what people's first impression of the name's nationality was, because I've gotten Russian and eastern Europe quite a lot.
