I was watching TV a few minutes ago and they put a small Episode III teaser. They had Obi-Wan (Alec Guiness) giving the speech about Darth Vader in Episode IV and shifted to various screens in Episode II showing Anakin doing stuff.

Also, they showed some space battle scenes, a CGI shot of Yoda fighting (arrgh!), Mace Windo and scenes of Anakin and Obiwan fighting in a place full of lava explosions. To tbe best of my knowledge, no lava surfing seems to take place.

They had a shot of Wookies roaring and a short scene where Palpatine says 'Rise vader' and a panel with Darth Vader on it rising up for everyone to see.

Did anyone else see it so far?

i taped it off the TV so ive been able to watch it a few times. gotta say i love it. there seems to be an immense amount of detail in the space battle sequence for instance, and the whole feeling of the trailer seemed to be 'faster, more intense' (to quote a Lucas-ism)

I have to admit, I didn't watch it all, but I thought it was nice... then again, I thought the trailer for Episode II was nice and the movie was total :yuck:

I remember the first time I saw the Episode I trailor and thought it would be the best film ever...little did I know.

This one does look darker.

i agree. its the natural progression for these things to slowly get darker as that suits the aims of the story.

that bit where Anakin is trying to push Obis own lightsabre back onto him looks awesome too! how many days left??
