Yeah, you guys at HD ranged from allright to mighty fine. And sometimes, you actually read the drivel I wrote and put out on the Internet. Too kind...

Raka has always been sparse in his posting, ever since the old old-school L&E boards. With the white post titles instead of yellow ones. Those forums were so cool!

Speaking of ads, notice how those little almost unnoticable Google ads show up almost everywhere now? I'm starting to get paranoid about the seemingly benign and arguably spiffy company. Maybe it's just my wacky anti-imperialist side flaring up because the ads are all over. Or maybe the third world war will be fought online betwixt Google and the world!

I'm wondering where people like Mist and Icey went. I miss Icey, he hasn't been around for months... sad.gif

I wonder how his baby's doing...

Its true, we're missing all the FR.com old guard. Admittedly, I'm not as old a member of the guard as, say, Jane is, but still...

I stopped hanging around the FR board for a reason. Possibly because I only got along with you, Chyld, Janey, Rhubarb, and Yahtzee himself. I got sick of reading the stuff that some of those people post.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a prick, aren't I?

Although he was left shortly after I arrived, I belive Icey lost access to the internet, hence he had to leave the forums. Unfortunatly, I don't remember the specifics. But the line "wherein Icey has no internet" comes to mind. Perhaps try a forum search on that?

Speaking only for myself. I too missed Icey and Misty. FR hasn't been as much fun since coming here. Jane will maybe understand.
To be honest I felt misunderstood over a silly incident.
I feel that perhaps my humour is a little too Australian for want of a better explanation.
I don't expect to be taken seriously. I expect people to know I like them and wish them no harm, as friends would. I feel comfortable with people who tease me and use humorous insults. If someone says...you look bloody rough today... I feel a warm glow, that person likes me, and I look ok. Compliments make me feel uneasy, and I don't know how to reply, I think they're taking the piss in sarcastic way. I'm just uncomfortable around people who don't get this.

So instead of having to look at every word I use in case it gives offence I just don't bother.

But, I love certain people here, and I wish you all well.

(My fluffy puppy avatar disappeared too.)

No, he has a deviantART thing that's been updated recently, so it can't be that.

Well then, search the user logs for his email and send him a line. May not work, but you never know.

I'm touched that you missed me Heccubus. I am around but not often. I don't have as much time as I'd like to.

I also miss Hero. He was good fun. *sigh*

Most of all, I miss the wacky, disliked, overbearing Heccubus of yore. He was such a snippy go-getter.

God, what the hell happened?

I thought I would resurrect this topic.

Has anyone seen Amber-Nicole recently? She disappeared long before Christmas, I think. I miss Fluffy.

I know Supes has been lost and then found by an efffort of our Sime here, and now visits Screening room for his notable appearance in Baren's spoof.

Mike Mac from NYU disappeared for a while after an "Accident" but came back for a while, but now he is lost again.

Anyone seen those two?

I assumed that AN went on holiday and has been offline, for it is the festive season. Rainer made a post the other day, but didn't mention a reason for the absences.

She hasn't updated her LiveJournal since October, I think. She's probably just too busy, as she has been known to take long absences in the past as well for such reasons.
