Just seeing that damn poster art made me cringe - this is going to suck just like the others. you can tell all ready, it won't be any different. what a wasted excuse for a trilogy those damn prequels have been.

Did this really require the opening of a new thread?

I'm right there with you brother.

The Prequels are the most retarded movies ever made, not just "bad" star wars films, but total celluloid crap. ...Oh wait, you're right, total VIDEO crap...

Well, I agree with the first sentiment of your post, but I don't hate Hayden Christensen. He did a good job of acting in Life as a House, and I'd really like to see him in Shattered Glass. Here's the link for Shattered Glass on Rotten Tomatoes. It looks pretty interesting.

I liked this excerpt from one of the reviews -

QUOTE
Christensen is terrific as the deceptively boyish Glass, and his performance confirms the notion that people who act badly in George Lucas movies (he's Anakin Skywalker) aren't bad actors, they're just in George Lucas movies.

That brought a smile to my face. smile.gif

The pic I posted is "The Star Wars Kid" vid, and if you are asking about how it was made I don't know.

I think you can download the video here:

I tend to dissagree. I don't really find the humor about a fat kid twirling a pole.

And yes, I did steal that from Maddox.

the "star wars kid" is the best thing about star wars...
and i laughed like a motherfucker when i saw it...

the kid is twiling a broom stick handle or something like he's darthmaul using the two ended LS, but he constantly grabs the end of it... he's a total spaz, and the way he tries to simulate spinning it around by just flick the ends up and down is so retardedly funny... and HE FILMED HIMSELF WITH THE SCHOOLS VIDEO CAMERA!!! his friends who found it were right to put it on the internet!!!

he left the school to escape embarrasement... but he did it to himself...
it was mean to let it out... but it was worth it to bring some entertainment into my dismal depressing life...

LAUGHED LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER!!!

-------------

someone adjusted that photo though obviously...

It looks cute I guess, not having seen it. A direct freaking link would be useful. My patience has worn thin, you see.

To touch on the Star Wars Kid thing, because apparently it's still 2002, I think he should be cut some slack. He's not doing anything that any of us didn't do as a kid by jumping around, waving a stick and pretending it's a lightsaber. Filming it probably wasn't the best idea. Letting his "friends" get a copy of the tape probably also wasn't so hot.

Good for him, I say. The difference is that when I was a kid the technology to so easily make something look like a lightsaber didn't exist. I would have gratefully sufferend any humiliation if it made it look like I was actually using a lightsaber.

No my friend...

you have it wrong... someone has altered that image after the fact as a post joke...

the video that got out has no special effects... just the retard with a stick... and verbally making "vwoom vshshsh vwing-kshshsh" sounds...

there was later a version that had 'gaybar' by electric six dubbed over it (the version i have)...

and someone has added the effect just recently... to that photo, but i don't know if they have done it for the whole thing... but the effect makes it funnier cause the kid kkeeps grabbing it by the ends...

----------------------------------------

so now do you understand....
that is why i laugh...

it's some uncoordinated kid with a stick NO FX, just verbal noises...

that is why he is the apex of humiliation...
