I've seen fan art that looks better than this. Heck, the fake poster that was going around looks better than this! blink.gif

Eh, it's not bad. Interesting concept making the cape into Vader's helmet, but you're right, it doesn't look professional at all. With a more professional look it could be good, but it seems like they just rushed it.

Yup, they rushed it... just like the other prequels... dry.gif

Is it just me or does Vader look like someone just dented his helmet really, really bad? rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

I seriously doubt this is the official poster. Looks much more like a piece of fan-art to me.

It is REALLY BAD. A tired old concept to begin with (come on, this is no better than that stupid thing with Jake Loyd and the Vader shadow)... and that composition is just TERRIBLE.

Yeah, I agree with JYAMG, the composition is awful. I though my computer down loaded only half of this nightmare.

Lucas is going for subliminal images in this one...

Spot the hidden characters.

Or is it the insane ramblings of a gusher with way too much spare time...

I agree, its truly sad. So much talent out there in the fans, and Lucas has once again probably hired more idiot yes-men to do the stupidest things concievable. As I have said before, its time for the fans to take "their" star wars back. This moment reminds me of the end of the Last Temptation of Christ, when Jesus meets Harry Dean Stanton(Paul), and he says, "My Jesus is more powerful than yours, means more than you..." If Star Wars, the 1978 version is your true Jesus, take it back, like Paul, you can...its yours, and there is nothing George Lucas can do about it. I think that once Lucas dies, fans WILL take it over, and perhaps even remake Episode I, II, and III...who cares if Lucas turns in his grave. I mean think about it, who in 20 years will have the kind of respect for George Lucas that some have where people visit celebrity graves, were touched and inspired say by Bruce Lee or whatever...people by then will be making CGI remakes of the prequels on their PC's saying "Hey Lucas...eat this...and it didn't cost 200 million dollars!AND ITS BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU COULD DREAM OF!" I say let the inspiration stand, and be inspired, a "take Star Wars back" campaign. Fans are producing fan-films as we speak which are better than Episode I or II, real talent, real creativity. Screw George Lucas, it ain't his baby anymore, he lost it when he refused to die on the cross...

I'm guessing by this poster that episode3 focuses entirely on Anakin. Prepare for maximum whining. Angry whining, but whining none the less.

Hannibal- Not a bad post. I think anyone could really create something better than this poster, hell I could do it and I only have MS Paint on my computer. What really gets me is that Anakin, for no reason, becomes completely evil for no reason. Apparently at this point we're supposed to simply understand that he's evil (they mke it pretty bloody obvious with the Vader mask and the red lightsaber) and yet he dosn't have the tiniest bit of motivation. In Ep 1 he's a sweet kid who very willingly parts from his mother to go have adventures. In ep2 he's a creepy phsycopath who spends the whole movie considering what way would be best to molest Amidala.

I think, if anything, that Anakins fall to the dark side (and his friendship with Palpatine, and Obi Wan's generalhood, and the scene that made Anakin and Amidala fell in love, and the explanation of the seperatists) occured off camera and we're just supposed to assume that they happened. By episode 2 Anakin can murder a whole village without bringing up any inner turmoil at all. So in what way is it a surprise that he can take down the whole Jedi council? They could have had us really wondering how Anakin became evil but instead, since the character was already a total dick by ep2, we just don't care how it happens.
