Barend is threatening to DISCONTINUE his Lord of the Rings parody. If this happens, then there will be no more new chapters and the Barend Network will cancel the series.

What can you do to stop this, you ask?

Barend needs reviews and he needs them urgently. The more reviews, the better the chance of saving the series are.

If you haven't already done so, go over to his LORD OF THE RINGS parody and comment on the latest chapter. Tell him it was hilariously funny, a work of genius or whatever. Say whatever it takes. Fuel his ego even (but don't "massage" it because a few sick individuals here don't quite understand that phrase ).

Thanks. And also, I'm glad this public announcement worked so well. Shortly after posting it, I saw a flood of new replies in Barend's Lord of the Rings thread.... so I think this announcement did its job well.

Now we just have to see if we have persuaded Barend to keep the project going.
