I liked MK at the time, but don't think much of it now. Jay and SB strike back is a great movie, as is Spaceballs and Robin Hood: MIT.

I still need to see Fear and Loathing...RH:MIT is an AMAZING film, better than Space Balls or J&SB, as for my feelings.

Then again. I generally prefer medieval fantasy/pseudo-historic drama, in general, and that tends to be closer to MIT's target.

I have one guilty pleasure,

well maybe it's not so much a guilty pleasure as much as it is a strange interest in a show.

I don;t know if any of you guys remember the old ABC Mystery Movies that they used to show in the 70s.. You know Columbo, McLoud, Banacek anmd those shows.

Well, since I work late, plus with my little daughters late nate feedings. I'm usual up at odd hours awake.

So i would take my daughter and sit on the couch and watch some TV. On Channel 55 in New York they show these ABC Mystery Movies at 4am in the morning.

One of the shows they put is a series called McMillan & Wife.

It starred Rock Hudson {before his public "outing"} and was about a police commisioner in San Francisco {which when you think of Rock Hudson, that's pretty prescient!!!} who solves mysteries along with his much younger wife.

It's your typical late 70s TV movies series, with all the cliches.

I remembered this show vaguely when I was young. Wasn;t a huge fan of it.

But while watching this show for a couple nights straight..........I have suddenly become hooked on it!!!

It's not like taht show was great or anything, it's full of cliches and some 70s TV movie corny acting...

.....but the style of the show was so unique to that genre of television, that it was fascinating to watch.

I have no made it a mission to get as many of the old McMillan and Wife episodes as I can via E-Bay and other sorts.

My viewing habits tend to be like this, I tend to interested and get addicted to shows for no reason and will watch them till the end.

i dunno, maybe when it;'s 4am in the morning and you have a screaming child in your arms, anything looks good on TV.

I bet The Phantom Menace would look better if I watched then!!!

I thought those were an NBC product. "the mystery wheel" I think I've heard it called. "Snoop Sisters" (with Helen Hayes, the first lady of american theater,) was one also.

I can still remember the opener. Kind of a whistle-able tune as the mystery holder of the flashlight approached.

I also remember the ABC sunday night movie was pretty big in the '70s. I'm sure I'm partially wrong on something

What was that again. Was that the one with the two old sisters who were helping their nephew or something like that????

the Snoop Sisters were these dotty, greying gals who solved crimes. My sister was a fan, I really preferred McM&W.

actually the franchise may have been picked up by ABC also. Didn't McCloud get his own show over there? Things get hazy when Networks pick up shows from others.

as far as show openers, I remember watching Lost in space (reruns) the day they got around to the "new" opening- we were like, WOW! (creepy Dr. Smith with a horrified look, jazzier music)

I also like Adam Sandler movies. Especially Billy Madison. Mark my words: it's a classic.

Certain Ralph Bakshi movies entertain me. Why, i don't know. But they do.

I can honestly say Super Mario Brothers (1993) is a big time guilty pleasure of mine. Does Earth Girls Are Easy count as a guilty pleasure? I know 1941 is all guilty pleasureville.
