I love that man with all my heart. If you say you don't like him, i say you don't like music!

Does he make anyone elses heart go 'pitter-pat'?

Despite my inexperience with his material, I adore everything I've heard by him. I mean, the guy has more integrity on his little finger than I do in my entire body. Plus he's a great songwriter, and one of the finest Canadians alive.

I'll agree wholeheartedly. His solo work is some of the most amazing songwriting ever to come out of anywhere, and when you compare it to his work with crazy horse......who else can boast that kind of versatility? I loved the rust never sleeps (live, but no audience track) album. Absolute quality.

I heard that he did some kind of song supporting the invasion of Iraq but I love his old stuff, especially his work with Crosby Stills and Nash. Has anyone read about his feud with Lynard Skynard?

Recently i picked up 'Live Rust', and it is sooooo good! I've listened to it at least once a day since then. Truly unprecedented.
It's already risen into the pantheon of my desert island discs despite only owning it for a couple weeks.

Highly recommended to anyone anywhere for any reason at all.

After the Gold Rush and Harvest are two of my favorite albums.

They had this AWESOME one man show on some crappy channel on TV a while back. It was from 72 or 73. He was playing piano, guitar, harmonica, etc. and singing all by himself. It was amazing. He was doing all the songs off those albums. I wish I'd recorded it. sad.gif
