Just found a screenshot of Episode 3, as if ewoks weren't bad enough in ROTJ, just look at the cutness he's adding to this movie!

The man was about to bastardized the Star Wars universe with Justin Timberlake in Episode Two, I'm sure he'd find a way to include Pikachu if it meant gaining a wider audience.
