There's a few such exp​ressions in circulation actually.

Egos can be -

1. Inflated
2. Fueled
3. Massaged

and even

4. Rubbed


And I am so glad I didn't use the last exp​ression with all of YOU GUYS reading the thread. I don't know WHAT your dirty little minds would have conceived of if I had used that one.


EDIT - I think there's more actually... I just remembered that you can also stroke egos.

And of course if an ego gets wounded, it can be nursed as well.
