Personally, I thought the dismemberment brought the movie down, but then again, I don't like horror movies for that reason.

I think that answer depends on whether or not you still have your underwear on, Brick.
I have a DVD player on my computer...now all I need is the DVD...
I try to avoid buying the DVD for something before I've actually seen it, but I think now is a good time to make an exception. A very good time.

I can't say I ever had one, that's what I like about you.
You're going to be sitting there for a while though, you know. I don't go home for another week or so, and I doubt I'll be allowed to buy anything for myself for the rest of the month.

Sime... Uh, I hate to break it to you, but Shaun of the Dead was a comedy... Or I'm a whole lot more twisted than I thought I was...
Speaking of psychosis, I have paranoid schitzotypal tendiencies. Granted, that just means I'm wierd and unsocial, but it sounds really bad!

And now I really need to pee . . .
Good thing there's an open window nearby. Oh how I pity pedestrians right now.

Where shall we put this bomb so it won't hurt anybody we know or care about?
Out the window Sam! There's nothing but strangers out there!
I hope there was noone on that bus.
Noone we know at least.
I know its a comedy, which is why I was disapointed that they had to put the dismemberment in.

The gore was highly necessary, I think. Highly. It was a bit unexpected. You went in thinking 'ok, zombie pisstake film' and when it started to get really bloody it was a surprise. The characters reactions to the gore was hilarious. For example, the scene after they beat the guy and the girl in the backyard, and then it cuts to them watching tv.
