Finally saw it this past Tuesday, and found it to be excellent. Has anyone else managed to catch it?

I saw it. It were funny. Not ARMY OF DARKNESS funny, mind; more of a FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL sort of funny. Character funny, yeah? as opposed to the ribald, three-stooges antic of the Sam Raimi stuff. Not to give the wrong impression, of course: it were no Noel Coward play, although a lot of it did occur in bars and sitting rooms.

Had some time to kill afterward, was downtown, decided to walk in to FORGOTTEN since it was starting. Now that is a terrible movie.

Great movie. The funniest I've seen in a long time. The subtle humour is wonderful. The subversive jabs at society are a hoot to see. Though it's not all funny, as there are some violent scene mimicking Romero's Dawn of the Dead to a T.

Turns out I was wrong, and I saw it earlier tonight. Have to say, thats one of the funniest movies that I've seen in a long time. And I almost didn't recognize Dylan Moran as a neat and presentable character biggrin.gif

I saw it, and consider it to be very high up on the scale of good movies I've seen. Hilarious, well directed, the ending was great.

Hilarious and kick-ass! It wasn't brainless, silly Monty-Python-ish humor either. The movie was at times quite heartfelt.

Garden State's a good movie, too . . . they're kind of similar. It's a bit less silly but they both have the really dark sarcastic humor. Garden State's a lot more personal and heart-wrenching, though.
