Well in my friends defence the clapping was PART of the movie as well. Its that part in every single harry potter film where the children start clapping harry potter at the end. My friend was just trying to point out how stupid people that clap to THAT are.

I do have to admit, shouting things out is pretty rediculous. Especially advice.
I'l like to go to one of hte same movies and shout out bad advice. "Go on, it's just a hallway!" "There's only one guy left, and he's allready hurt! He can't get you!"

I would accept clapping at the end of a movie but I still consider it to be a bit silly. However the people I'm talking about actually broke out into applause during the movie after Legolas killed the stupid eliphant.
And my first post was meant to be overly offensive and silly. However I think we can all agree that LOTR ROTK was not clapworthy, and that is precisely why it bothered me so much. I felt like jumping up and yelling out "FOOLS! YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU DO!"

Clapping during the oliphuant scene is terrible. If it wasn't for those idiots, the oliphaunt scene wouldn't have been made in the first place, nor would the green detergent army of the dead scrubbing all the orcs off the battlefield - and the movie would have been better for it.
