accept the reality of what? that some critics didnt like clones? that some critics did? or that RT.com decided that some critics are more worthwhile than others, so they gave them the coveted `cream of the crop` merit badge? what is all that supposed to prove exactly (beyond what is common sense)? if i like a movie, but then i later find out that it got more bad reviews than good, does that make me wrong for liking it in the first place? showing me some bad reviews of clones is no more likely to change my mind than me showing you good reviews of it (and since hk brought up RT, i invite anyone to take a look at just how many good reviews it did get)

In my younger days, perhaps I would have jumped into this... but to tell everyone the truth, I'm really tired of debating the merits of movies. I don't think a single person on this forum has ever changed their mind about a film on the merits of what someone else said in an argument.

So at the end of the day, it just seems rather pointless. Some people like the movies I like. Some people like the movies I hate. I can't understand why they like those movies but nothing I say would make them change their mind about it. Take the all the debates on Return of the Jedi for example. It didn't matter how many faults I listed with that film. All the faults were real, all the points were valid (although the other team refused to acknowledge it)... but it didn't matter. The people I argued with liked the film. And honestly, there's nothing I can do to change that... and nothing to be gained by trying.

Okay, you're probably all sick of my moral high-ground chatter... so I'll just leave it there. The long and short of it is that I'm not going to jump into all these debates anymore... probably.

EDIT - I should add that the purpose of this thread was just to post entertaining or interesting reviews for others to read and enjoy.... not to try to persuade anyone to like or hate anything.
